Discover the Winery: Domaine Raoul Gautherin & Fils
A winery with a rich history of Burgundy winemaking. Founded in 1950, it grows vineyards dating back to 1585, combining centuries-old knowledge with modern innovations to create some of the world's most recognized Shabli wines. Domaine Raoul Gautherin et Fils is a family property passed down from generation to generation. The current manager, Adrien Gautherin, has been working with his father for the past decade. In total, they manage a 16.5-hectare property located on the best mountain slopes around Shabli, ensuring that each bottle reflects the unique clay-limestone terroir. The father-son team, Alain and Adrienne Gotterini, have since transformed the estate into a modern embodiment of high-end production. They farm three Grand Cru and three Premier Cru in climatic conditions, each respecting the specifics of the place required to produce carefully designed, high-definition wines. Most of the Gauterine wine remains in France, so it is a real honor to provide these wines to the Latvian market.
